About
Leda and the Swan.
A Greek myth about a Spartan queen, a story about love and passion with a certain edge.
When Leda cut three holes in a beautiful lace pillow cover to make her first dress she was four years old. So, her grandmother decided to teach her how to sew, in order to save her remaining pillow covers.
What started as princess dresses for her teddybear, later turned into party dresses when she was a teenager and so it was clear that a passion for craft and design as well as fashion would be a leading factor in her life.
She started her higher education with Graphic Design at Sint-Lukas, then came four years of art history at KULeuven, finished with a three year course for fashion design under supervision of Jan Welvaert.
After an internship at Essentiel Antwerp she was immediately hired and climbed up to assistent designer and designer for scarves in three years.
Now she's turned back to the dreamy dresses of her childhood and the joy of helping brides finding their dream dress.
With that same love and a certain edge.
